TERMS OF SERVICE

Subject to the terms and conditions below, The Mobile Personal Training Company will appoint an appropriate personal trainer (PT) for the development of an exercise, nutrition or supplementation programme with a client for the agreed block of sessions and the timeframe agreed (the service).


These terms and conditions will apply to all bookings of the service, both face to face and online, with the PT made by the client.


The PT will use their skills and knowledge to design a safe programme of exercise that will consider the personal goals, fitness levels and exercise likes and dislikes of the client.


The PT will provide the coaching, supervision, advice and support that the client may need to help achieve their goals. The client’s progress will be regularly monitored, and the programme revised and adjusted accordingly.


The PT will provide all necessary equipment and will liaise with the client to agree appropriate venues for all the training sessions.

 

All client information will be kept strictly private and confidential. If the PT requires further medical information from a practitioner, the client will provide such details.


It is understood between The Mobile Personal Training Company, the client and the PT that all parties will commit to the service and give 100% effort.


Health Screening Policy


All clients must complete a PAR-Q and a Client-Trainer agreement before commencing any exercise programme, both face to face or online. The client may be required to provide a letter of medical clearance from their GP. Please be aware a GP may charge for this.


Face to Face Personal Training


The client is required to arrive 5 minutes prior to a training session, at the previously agreed location, so that a full session can be achieved each visit.


The client is required to wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Clothes should be non 

restrictive. Footwear should be comfortable and provide adequate support.


The client is required to bring an appropriate water bottle, filled ready for the session and any sustenance required by the client for pre or post session nutrition. 


The client is responsible for notifying their PT or The Mobile Personal Training Company should they encounter any issues during the service. The client must stop exercising immediately if they become injured or unwell and notify their PT or The Mobile Personal Training Company should this occur.


Late Arrivals


The PT is only required to wait for 15 minutes past the agreed start time. After this the PT may leave the previously agreed venue for that session and the client will forfeit the amount paid for that session.


If the client, arrives within the 15 minutes, the PT will complete the session with the remaining time. No extra time will be given.


If the PT is more than 10 minutes late on arrival to the session, the client can have a full hour from the time that the PT arrives (if convenient), or the client can have the remaining time of the session added on to another session.


Fee Charging Policy


In consideration of the service, all sessions will be paid according to the session rates charged at the time of booking.


Payment for a single face to face personal training session will be paid for, in full, a minimum of 24 hours before the session date.


Payment for both face to face and online packages will be paid for, in full, in advance. Each individual session will be booked either on a week by week basis or when a regular time slot is available over the course of the service.


The Mobile Personal Training Company reserve the right to change weekly session slots as necessary and with appropriate reason and notice period.


All purchased face to face personal training sessions must be completed within 12 weeks of purchase or they will be forfeited unless serious illness or injury is sustained. The client may be asked to provide details of the illness or injury and this may need to be backed up with a report from a medical professional.


It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that the dates and times booked are correct.


Cancellation Policy


To cancel a booked session, the client must notify the PT either in person or by phone call or text message, no less than 24 hours before the start of that session. In the event of cancellation by the PT, the PT is responsible for notifying the client of any such cancellation, no less than 24 hours before the start of that session.


The client may be charged for sessions missed as follows:


By the client with more than 24 hours notice and the client is able to rearrange and complete the session in the same week - no charge/loss of session.


By the client with less than 24 hours notice and the client is unable to rearrange and complete the session in the same week – the session will be charged.


By the PT - no charge/loss of session on more than the 24 hours notice if the session is rescheduled within the same week. If the PT is unable to reschedule the session within the same week, an extra session will be added to your block.


Any holidays either taken by the client or the PT then sessions scheduled for the specific timeframe will be placed on hold and require more than 48 hour notice for reschedule.


Any downgrade of a package or discontinuation of training entirely must be notified within a 30-day period prior to any downgrade or discontinuation. Please be aware that a re-continuation at a later date may be subjective to any price increase in the interim period.

 

Refund Policy


If the client is unable to continue the block of sessions for medical reasons, a refund will be available for unused sessions or the sessions can be placed on hold. The client will submit a letter from their doctor clearly stating exercise restrictions prior to any refund being given.


If the client decides to cease training with The Mobile Personal Training Company, refunds may be given for unused sessions based on the circumstance.


Online Personal Training Programmes


The PT will use their skills and knowledge to design a safe online programme of exercise that will consider the personal goals, fitness levels and exercise likes and dislikes of the client.


The PT will provide online coaching, supervision, advice and support, where needed, to help the client achieve their goals. The client’s progress will be regularly monitored, and the online programme revised and adjusted accordingly.


The PT will provide the online coaching, supervision, advice and support for the duration of the service with that client.


For all exercise undertaken by the client from an online programme, the client is required to wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Clothes should be non restrictive. Footwear should be comfortable and provide adequate support.


The client is responsible to have an appropriate water bottle filled before taking part in any exercise set out in the online programme and also any sustenance required for pre or post session nutrition unless previously instructed differently by the PT.


All online programmes will be sent, via e-mail wherever possible, to the client from the PT at the start of the service. In the event this is not possible, a copy can be printed and posted to the client. This will be at the cost of the client. 


It is the responsibility of the client to complete the programme to the best of their ability. 


The client is responsible for notifying their PT or The Mobile Personal Training Company should they encounter any issues during the service. The client must stop exercising immediately if they become injured or unwell and notify their PT or The Mobile Personal Training Company should this occur.

If the client is unable to continue with the online programme for medical reasons, a partial refund may be available. The client will need to submit a letter from their doctor clearly stating exercise restrictions prior to any refund being given.


If the client decides to cease training with The Mobile Personal Training Company, partial refunds may be given based on the circumstance.


Unique Calorie Counter


All Unique Calorie Counter payments will be paid, in full, in advance of the PT giving the results.


All Unique Calorie Counter information will be sent to the client via e-mail where possible. In the event this is not possible, a copy can be printed and posted to the client. This will be at the cost of the client.


As this is an information based service, once the information has been given, there will be no option of a refund on this service.


Technique Perfection


All Technique Perfection payments will be paid, in full, in advance of the PT analysing the technique of a client.


Clients will send a technique video via email, where possible, and the PT will analyse the client's technique of an exercise.


Only one technique will be analysed per payment.


As this is an information based service, once the information has been given, there will be no option of a refund on this service.


NHS and Job Centre Referral Scheme


To qualify for the NHS or Job Centre referral scheme, the client will complete the relevant referral form and submit it to referrals@themobileptcompany.co.uk


The referral scheme discount is available for everyone who is eligible on all face to face and online programme services at The Mobile Personal Training Company.


For the face to face couples personal training service, both people will be eligible for the discount and complete the relevant form separately.


For the face to face group personal training service, all people will be eligible for the discount and complete the relevant form separately.


The Mobile Personal Training Company reserve the right to ask for more evidence based on a completed and submitted form.


The Mobile Personal Training Company reserve the right to refuse the referral scheme discount based on a completed and submitted form.


Vouchers


The Mobile Personal Training Company vouchers will be redeemed, to the value of the voucher(s), off any service or product available.


The voucher can not be exchanged for any money and must be redeemed within 6 months of purchase.


Vouchers can be redeemed with other vouchers but can not be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer by The Mobile Personal Training Company at any time.


Downloadable Content


The downloadable content on the website is the property of the Mobile Personal Training Company and is not permitted to be replicated in any way. The PAR-Q, Client-Trainer Agreement, NHS Referral Form and Job Centre Referral Form are only to be opened and completed in relation to services offered by The Mobile Personal Training Company. 


The monthly Newsletter should only be opened as read only.


Any other use of any of the downloadable content, unless outlined above, is strictly prohibited unless prior written approval by The Mobile Personal Training Company is given.
